Pressure Vessel
A pressure vessel is one of the most important components in industrial process plants. The term pressure vessel encompasses a wide range of unit heat exchangers, reactors, storage vessels, columns, separation vessels, etc. Since operation of pressure vessal is risky In many countries the production and operation of pressure vessels are controlled by legislation
- A pressure vessel is one of the most important components in industrial process plants.
- Some national pressure vessel standards such as ASME VIII (1993)
- In the USA and Pressure equipment directive (PED) in Europe.
Heat Exchangers
Heat exchangers are devices designed to transfer heat between two or more fluids—i.e., liquids, vapors, or gases—of different temperatures. Depending on the type of heat exchanger employed, the heat transferring process can be gas-to-gas, liquid-to-gas, or liquid-to-liquid and occur through a solid separator, which prevents mixing of the fluids, or direct fluid contact.
Other design characteristics, including construction materials and components, heat transfer mechanisms, and flow configurations, also help to classify and categorize the types of heat exchangers available. Finding application across a wide range of industries, a diverse selection of these heat exchanging devices are designed and manufactured for use in both heating and cooling processes.
Storage Tanks
Storage tanks are containers that hold liquids, compressed gases or mediums used for the short- or long-term storage of heat or cold. Storage tanks are available in many shapes: vertical and horizontal cylindrical; open top and closed top; flat bottom, cone bottom, slope bottom and dish bottom.
- Storage tanks are containers that hold liquids.
- Some national pressure vessel standards such as ASME VIII (1993)
- In the USA and Pressure equipment directive (PED) in Europe.
Unlike pressure they materials are stored in atmospheric pressure.
Rotary Kiln
Kilns are furnaces which can be static or rotaring depending on the application. Rotary kilns are used usually where continous production is required .On the other hand static furnaces are used for batch type applications; one good example is a heat treatment furnaces.
Pyrolysis machines
Pyrolysis is a process in which the products like biomass , waste plastics and rubber are burned in an inert atmosphere to extract charcoal, and diesel from plastics.
